Courses
The course offers complete coverage of all fields of current interest in nuclear energy
The first year (M1) of the course consists of scientific foundation courses (both fundamental and applied):
Second year (M2) students choose one of the five majors :
The course is run by a consortium of several parisian academic institutions
- The Université Paris-Sud which has a strong teaching background in fundamental and applied physics, and a recognised strength in Nuclear Physics and Energy Physics.
- The PRES ParisTech schools, where teaching and research in the energy domain covers a wide range of specialities (hydrocarbons, nuclear, renewable energy, energy efficiency, storage) and aspects (scientific, technological, economic and social).
- Ecole Centrale Paris and Supélec which educate general engineers who have significantly contributed to the development of the nuclear industry, both in France and abroad.
- INSTN which educate nuclear engineers and researchers in scientific disciplines and leading edge technology.
